A very merry Autumn to you and your loved ones, summer has been and gone – hope you don’t have any post sun blues. As we’re from Scotland we’re currently in our 1000th consecutive month of Autumn-esque weather so we’re fine.
Anyway, thank you to everyone that took the time to watch us at a festival over the summer months. We had an amazing time, culminating in Reading and Leeds at the end of August which were a couple of shows we won’t forget for a long time.
What else has happened since then? Our single ‘Make A Beast Of Myself’ came out a couple of weeks ago and has been our most successful single to date… thanks to all of you. Hope you enjoyed the web chats that took place over the release week, and sorry if our bland chat offended you in anyway. And a final mention for anyone who wants to take part in the Competition to win Sam’s Smashed up Guitar from the ‘Time For You To Stand Up’ video, the winner shall be announced soon…….

Twin Atlantic fans! To win Sam’s smashed guitar from the Time For You To Stand Up video find the secret link within the Make A Beast of Myself video. Hover your cursor over what that might be and click through to win. Your clue this evening is “Sam likes to paint”. More clues to come.
Twin Atlantic will be heading to the US to play with label mates AWOLNATION on the Fall Harvest Tour before coming back to the UK to headline our own Free-ze Tour in December. More information for both tours is available in the Tours section.
Twin Atlantic feature as part of a Radio 1 documentary called ‘The Next Big Thing’ which follows UK’s three hottest up and coming bands to determine if rock is truly dead. It airs Monday the 22nd of August @ 9pm and will be available to listen to until the 29th.
Presented by Daniel P Carter, this programme follows We Are The Ocean, Lower Than Atlantis & Twin Atlantic over six months.
Thank you very much for signing up to the Twin Atlantic mailing list, we’re hoping to make this quite a regular deal – it means you get to keep up to date with what the band is up to before anyone else and possibly we’ll be able to offer you some exclusives down the line for your commitment.
Anyway… this is just a brief hello and welcome, but whilst i’m here i’d better plug our shiny new video for ‘Make A Beast Of Myself’…
You may have seen it already, but it’s worth a second (and third and fourth) look so you can see the brief cameo from Danny Glover. Didn’t see him? Then watch it again, he’s definitely in there.
Another thank you should be sent the way of anyone who has to taken the time to see us at a festival this summer, we’ve had some really special shows because of it and it’s all down to you for making them a success.
